Warmaster Resurgence

I don't know if this direction is new news or old hat to my regular readers so here goes.

This box arrived in the post this morning.

Orcs, thousands of them ...

Inside the box there are three identical sprues.

The sprues are hard plastic.

Bases, not sure if I'll use them as I prefer MDF.

A closeup view:

These will go nicely with this Copplestone Castings order.

Men of Rohan who just can't wait to get at the Orcs.

Watch this space as things evolve (or perhaps 'revolve')

  1. Nice that it comes with bases (even if you might prefer your own).

    1. I've heard that the bases are required for their rules which I've not seen yet.

  2. This looks interesting! You could use the free figures on this month’s Wargame Illustrated as Dunlendings…

    1. Nice idea Alan but I think the figures you refer to are 15mm or thereabouts.

  3. These look very good. Coincidentally, I have recently played a game of Games Workshop Battle of 5 Armies, which is essentially Warmaster. I have also used the 10mm figures with two other rulesets - Midgard Heroic battles and Nic Wrights Fantastic Battles. All gave a good Fantasy/heroic type game!
