Some insights into a crazy world of model soldiers, toys to some, a business to others, an amazing realm where there are no limits other than your imagination, tempered with a bit of research and history.
Yes! I'm currently working in this theater in 28mm, but I love the look of this mass battalion. Maybe I'll have to see if I can manage some Charles S. Grant sized units (I shudder to think of the Mahdist force I'd need at that man to model ratio). Great job!
Those Pendraken figures figures are soooo well cast, that line of them looks spectacular!
ReplyDeleteA good fighting line, I hope. They have yet to face the Mahdists.
DeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteA very impressive-looking force ... and very nicely painted! I look forward to seeing them in action.
All the best,
Bob

ReplyDeleteYes, I'd love to do it in 28mm but I don't have the playing space that it would need.
DeleteI had a look at what was available in 20mm but came away disappointed.
10mm from Pendraken just about gives me what I want and they fit into my playing space just nicely.
Looks great Jim!
ReplyDeleteThanks, just wait till you see the Black Watch.
DeleteLooking forward to seeing the Dervish masses!
ReplyDeleteSome on the painting table just now.
DeleteThanks Andy, stay safe.
