York? Anyone?




Am planning to go to Vapnartak in York this weekend.

      I'm not sure this is going to be a great opportunity for taking pictures, I expect to be selling most of the time at the tabletop sale. But you never know. I will certainly blog an opinion in due course.

      I expect that there will be quite a few SESWC members there on the day, there was over a dozen last year. I'm not aware of any of our chaps putting on a game but since I am well out the loop at the club I wouldn't be surprised if there was a club display.

    SESWC are not putting on a display but Falkirk have a 28mm Dark Ages game. Not going myself but Colin, Ray, Dave Paterson and others should be there...

      I knew Dave would be there, he'll be hoping that Falkirk have a better bus this year. I also knew Colin was going as he was hoping to take Hugh down but I'm led to believe that will not be the case now.

    The 'Falkirk bus' will be taking about 20 down again

    I will no doubt get along to the table top sale so I will probably see you there - although I may have to spend a fair bit of time helping out with our game

      Send all your guys up with a few quid to spare, plenty of bargains to be had. I'm hoping to take several hundred well painted and based Fantasy figures as well as a tub full of 54mm Napoleonic cavalry.

    I'm absolutely exhausted after the hard sell at the show as well as the 8 hours of driving getting there and back.
