You have your work cut out for you. Hopefully all they will need is a good cleaning.
ReplyDeleteJim
Yes, they will all need a good clean, hopefully just dust and a few cobwebs. They are old enough to have some of the glue biodegrade and there will be some breakages somewhere.
DeleteThese are my battle ready ships from a decade or two ago, I have another box acquired second handed which will need a complete work-over and a third batch of brand new, still in their original packaging somewhere else in the loft.
Nice looking ships - whose the manufacturer ? , Tony
ReplyDeleteHi Tony, they are almost all 1/600 Airfix Victories apart from one, right at the back, second from the left which is a 1/700 La Superbe by Revell ( I think) and a bundle of scratch built Spanish gunboats.
DeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteThey look like they started life Airfix models of Victory. Hopefully all they will need is a gentle wash in warm soapy water or a gentle dust with a soft brush.
All the best,
Bob
Hi Bob, see my reply to Col Campbell above. Hopefully just a gentle clean up to start with.
