The Christmas Brigades - On Parade

I'll let the next few pictures speak for themselves. They show the transition from the finishing touches to the gloss varnish stage.




Now the shiny bits





These will be dry by next year or tomorrow morning so I will have a go at getting them based.

    Hi Jim,

    I have been following this sequence of posts and am absolutely gobsmacked by the speed of completion and the look of the end result! They look really good and you have hit the old school/toy soldier paint job squarely on the head. The figures have given me much food for thought so could you oblige me with a picture of the Spencer Smith Zouaves you have completed? I have a cunning plan....;-)

      One of the tricks is to figure out how big a brush can I use on this colour area on this figure. Overpainting some areas is also a help.
