Another bout of stomach pains has upset my schedule yet again.
Another unplanned visit to the Royal Infirmary overnight has set me on the path to yet another endoscopy, more tablets and who knows what else.
On the plus side it is a chance to catch up with my reading. (That is a plus isn't it?)
Hope you are soon back on your feet again , Tony
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteI had literally just finished an additional shelving unit which will allow me to take more things off the playing table and get some gaming done.
The shelves lie bare at the moment.
Hope they find the problem and get you on the way to recovery, sir.
ReplyDeleteThought I was heading there already but this is the third time in three and a half years.
DeleteI'm dealing with holding back the advances associated with diabetes. Loss of feeling in the fingers is quite irritating at times.
ReplyDeleteDiabetes was one of the things I was worried about but my doctors seem to be sure that I am clear of that one.
DeleteMy son-in-law-to-be is a diabetic so I expect it is something I will learn more about.
I hope that your medics can minimise the impact on your good self.
Jim,
ReplyDeleteI hope they find out what is causing the problem and get it sorted as quickly as possible. Having suffered from duodenal ulcers, I know how stomach pains can be so debilitating.
Get well soon,
Bob
They said I had an ulcer in my lower oesophagus which had healed last year. I wonder if it has returned.
DeleteGet well soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm managing to 'potter' around the wargames room this evening.
DeleteHope you continue to improve Jim.
ReplyDeleteTake care
Alan
Thanks Alan
DeleteI've been tidying up bits and pieces in the wargames hut so I must be a bit better.
Hope you get sorted soon!
ReplyDeleteI see my own GP this afternoon.
DeleteI expect it will be a double dose of medication for a while, another endoscopy and perhaps a scan of my gall bladder.
Jim
ReplyDeleteYou were looking good when I met you at York.
Endoscopy - not my favourite thing - but there are worse!
That's the problem Bill, everything chugs along just nicely and now and again something pops up and pokes you in the eye or in this case kicks you in the stomach.
