2D Silhouette Scenery

Here's some work-in-progress pictures of my 2D Silhouette Scenery which I hope to use with my Heroscape tile battlefields and a version of the Portable Wargame.

These are the raw cuts of 2mm MDF scaled for 6mm/10mm.

There are lots of permutations.

Painting is in progress, watch this space.

  1. Those are interesting Jim, I fancied something like that for my Commands and Colors games. I look forward to seeing them finished.

    1. This set will fit Heroscape tiles which are just over 40mm flat to flat.

I would hope to get a set which would fit Hexon 2 tiles which are 10mm across the flats.

What size hexes are Command and Colours?

    2. The Heroscape tiles are actually about 45mm across the flats so you could probably get away with them as they are.

I'll speak to my supplier to see if we can release a set for evaluation/purchase.

  2. Jim,

I am very impressed! Do you have your own laser cutter or did you have them cut for you?

    All the best,

    Bob

  4. They look very effective, Jim. I'm a fan of 2d buildings and mix them in with 3-D, which seems to work.

    1. Yes, they are good.

I will be happy when gamers start using them in their own games.
