Chinese Temple Foo Dogs

One of my weekend purchases from Warbases.

They paint up nicely.

 
 
As you see they are a matched pair, one left facing and one right facing. Just fine for a non-descript Chinese town.

 
 
They don't have the traditional attributes of a male and female pair but I can live with that.


Anyone for a Chinese?

      The cut and cast of the figures makes the painting easier. Three coats of various reds and an umber wash.

      I would pre-order them for collect at Claymore as they are a low-stock item. My recent post may spur a rash of demand.
