I usually look like a bit like this.
More recently I have looked more like this.
I have a pic of some cutting detail but I have filed that away.
I had a word with my pal Archie but he didn't answer.
I did a bit of studying.
I think I have the proportions correct but my emphasis is wrong.
Check me out again in a week, or is it three weeks?
Hope your feeling better , take it easy .
ReplyDeleteIf I take it much easier I think I would wither away.
DeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteHopefully you'll be well on your way to feeling better in less than three weeks.
Have you had a chance to do any painting yet?
All the best,
Bob
My wave of earlier optimism has been dashed ashore in pieces of jetsam and flotsam.
DeleteI did a trivial amount of painting a day or two ago so not really any progress.
Jim,
DeleteEven a trivial amount is better than I have managed!
All the best,
Bob
Maybe so Bob but my expectations are bigger than my modest achievements so far.
DeleteHope you are getting better everyday.
ReplyDeleteIf I am getting better it is in tiny increments.
DeleteI get the rest of my stitches out tomorrow and a chat with my GP, maybe that will improve things.
Tiny increments are better than no increments... hopefully the increments will get bigger quickly.
ReplyDeleteStep by step.
DeleteRecuperation takes as long as it takes! Just be a Patient patient!
ReplyDeleteJust ramped up my painkillers to include Tramadol as the investigation found a very localised pain which shouldn't be there.
DeleteKeep on keepin' on, Jim! All the best with it.
ReplyDelete... truckin' ...
DeleteKeeping going Jim,you'll get there.
ReplyDeleteAlan
It's turning out to be a longer road than I first imagined.
DeleteHope you feeling better soon
ReplyDeleteTake care
Andy
Doped up at the moment.
DeleteMan's best friend, indeed. Archie will see you through!
ReplyDeleteAs it happens Archie is in a poorer state than I am. He's a not well dog and is not allowed to run free off the lead and I am not allowed to walk him without an escort.
DeleteJim, you will find that you have good days and then a bad one or two. Usually I find after some exertion I need to rest. It odesnt mean sleeping, but maybe a bit of reading or painting. Small steps and all that.Best of luck.
ReplyDeleteSmall steps, baby steps, oh so slow slow slow.
DeleteThe painkillers tend to knock me out anyway so staying awake is a challenge.
