Yesterday (Christmas Day) was just bearable but more painful towards the evening.
However, since then, particularly since lunchtime I have been passing blood clots followed by more pain.
The last one was a massive clot but has been followed by a painfree period and a couple of reasonably normal pees.
I might get my paintbrush out this evening.
I'm just about to go out and visit my 17 month old grandson before he goes to bed.
Whoop-ee-do.
Hope you have a good evening Jim.

Thanks Alan
DeleteI got to see my grandson who was very clingy to me as he hadn't seen me for a few days.
Found out on the way home that 30 minutes is the length of time before my bladder needs relief. Important to know that as I hope to do a 4 hour drive to York in February.
I didn't get home in time to do anything sensible with a paintbrush.
Hi Jim,
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed you may be turning a corner.
All the best,
DC
I've increased my time limit away from a toilet from circa 3 minutes to about 30 minutes. That's a great relief (pun intended).
DeleteJim,
ReplyDeleteGood news. Let's hope that the situation remains positive, and that this is the precursor of better things.
I hope that you gave a great time visiting your grandson.
All the best,
Bob
Yes, had some quality time with my grandson as well as both my daughters, the wife's sister, daughter and granddaughter, son-in-law and the other granny and granddad.
DeleteWhile things are good, go with it! Carpe Diem!!!
ReplyDeleteFor a while it was seize my groin before disaster struck. Have improved from 3 minutes away to 30 minutes.
DeleteTake care Jim, I hope the meeting with your consultant will come up with long term improvements.
ReplyDeleteI think that is what he is being paid for.
DeleteSo glad to hear your feeling better , wanting to paint figures is a good sign :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a relief it has been.
DeleteThe next milestone is to wake up to a bladder with nothing but urine in it.
The physical basics really are basic to us. Every little improvement is a victory of sorts. May there be more and bigger ones ahead!
ReplyDeleteThe last clot was accompanied by an immediate loss of pain followed by a great sense of relief that something had changed for the better.
DeleteYes, let's hope you are going to be on the mend soon and things are looking up. Look forward to seeing your work when you do get to the paintbrush.
ReplyDeletecheers
Mike
I decided not to attempt any painting this evening in case that jinxed my recent good fortune.
DeleteConsultant meeting is tomorrow afternoon.
Jim
ReplyDeleteI hope all goes well and that you will continue to feel better.
Richard
