Winter Woes

Is it me, is it the weather, is it the advancing years or does wargaming make you ill?

I'm having to call off tonights home wargame as I'm a bit under the weather.

Nothing serious, just a head cold which is turning my 'bad hearing' ear into todays 'best' ear since my 'good' ear is a bit choked up. I blame my club since last weeks club AGM took place in a large unheated room and I'm fairly sure there was an outside door open too!

It might be the weather since we had our first snow fall of the year yesterday morning. Mind you it wasn't even half an inch of snow (10mm to my continental friends).

It can't be age yet, I'm only a young age pensioner (a very young age pensioner at that) and one of my wargames chums has just called off sick for tonight and he's only in his forties.

It must be wargaming that is the culprit. I've devoted all my spare time and spare cash to the hobby and this is how it repays me. (only kidding, I hope).

Here's me after a particularly intensive period of thinking, doing, painting and playing.

I'm sure I will be better by tomorrow, or the day after, or the day after... ... ...

    1. Sorry about that DC, things are picking up a bit this evening. A few congestion relief tablets have let my sickly hearing back into the game, too late for a game though!

I'm currently working on something that might upset your recent thinking on 10mm figures.

    1. I did most of the planning for 2013 last year.

I'm implementing some of 2010's plans this year.
